Consultation Events

Consultation Phases
There will be four consultation phases during the Eastern CFRAM Study.
  • 2011 Initial Scoping Phase;
  • 2014-5 Draft Flood Mapping and SEA Scoping Phase;
  • 2015 Options Phase;
  • 2016 Draft FRMP and Environmental Report Phase.
During each phase, consultation events will be held at which all are welcome. However, you can make a submission or send a comment at any time by clicking here have your say.

Public Consultation on Draft Flood Hazard Maps and Proposed Flood Management Options for the Camac and Poddle catchments
A series of consultation days took place to present draft flood mapping and potential flood management options for the Poddle and Camac catchments to the public. Their development wasprioritised within the overall Eastern CFRAM Study programme in order to allow Dublin City Council and South Dublin County Council to progress flood management works in those areas.

Public Consultation on Draft Flood Hazard Maps for the Morell, Painestown, Slane, and Kill River Areas
A public consultation event took place to present draft flood maps for the Morell, Painestown, Slane, and Kill rivers from 3pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday 16th April 2013 at Áras Chill Dara in Naas. These maps were developed to allow Kildare County Council to assess potential flood risk management options for these areas in a subsequent study. Staff from the project team were present to discuss and receive comments on the draft maps. The maps were then available for viewing and comment for a period of 2 weeks after the event on this website.
Public Open Evening in the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22  - 26th January 2012
A public open evening was held in the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22, on 26th January 2012 from 7pm to 9pm. Eastern CFRAM Study staff were available to discuss all aspects of the study. We had an excellent turn-out, thanks to all who attended and we hope you found it useful. A report in relation to the event can be downloaded from our downloads page.
